At Rapid Supplies (RapidClean Illawarra), we deliver cleaning chemicals, paper products, janitorial supplies and equipment across the Illawarra, South Coast, Southern Highlands and beyond. This page explains how our shipping, delivery zones and timeframes work when you order through rapidsupplies.com.au.

Delivery Areas & Couriers

Delivery is available across Australia using a range of trusted couriers and freight partners. We offer special rates for our local and extended local delivery zones and can arrange freight to other areas Australia-wide.

Local Delivery – Illawarra & Wollongong

Our local area covers the Illawarra and Wollongong region (Bright Green zone on the map below).

  • Orders under $150 (incl. GST): flat shipping fee of $20.
  • Orders $150 and over: free local delivery.

Extended Local Delivery – Southern Highlands, Southern Sydney & South Coast

Our extended local area covers the Southern Highlands, Southern Sydney and South Coast (Light Green zone on the map).

  • Orders under $200 (incl. GST): flat shipping fee of $30.
  • Orders $200 and over: free extended local delivery.

Australia-Wide Shipping

For deliveries outside our local and extended local zones, we can arrange freight Australia-wide. Shipping costs and options may depend on:

  • delivery postcode and region,
  • total weight and size of the order, and
  • whether items need to ship as cartons, pallets or machinery.

Where available, freight charges will be shown at checkout. For bulky items, large machinery or remote locations, our team may contact you with a freight quote or to confirm the best delivery option.

Dispatch & Delivery Timeframes

We aim to dispatch orders within 24–48 business hours (Monday to Friday), subject to stock availability and order volume.

Estimated delivery timeframes:

  • Local & extended local areas: typically 2–5 business days.
  • Other Australian locations: typically 3–8 business days, depending on distance and carrier.

Some items, such as machinery and equipment, may require extra time for pre-delivery checks, setup or coordination of delivery. If this applies to your order, we will let you know and provide an updated timeframe.

Please note that all delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by factors outside our control (e.g. courier delays, weather events, peak periods).

Stock Availability

While Rapid Supplies makes every effort to ensure that our online store accurately reflects stock availability, there may be times when an item shown as available is temporarily out of stock.

If an item you order is out of stock, we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss your options. Depending on your preference, we can:

  • place the item on back order where possible,
  • provide an alternative or suitable replacement product, or
  • cancel and refund that particular item or issue a store credit.

Delivery Instructions & Access

If your site has specific delivery requirements (e.g. limited access times, loading dock details, secure sites or special handling instructions), please include these in the order notes or contact our team so we can work with the courier to accommodate them.

Damaged or Incorrect Deliveries

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if:

  • an item arrives damaged,
  • you believe it is faulty, or
  • you have received the wrong item.

This allows us to assess the issue quickly and arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include a replacement, refund or other solution in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
