Actichem MethSan PreWash (DR634.05) is a specialized, high-performance pre-cleaning detergent engineered specifically for the crucial initial preparation stage of illicit drug lab and meth decontamination projects.

Formulated with controlled alkalinity, powerful grease-cutting solvating agents, and super-wetting penetrants, MethSan PreWash rapidly breaks down and emulsifies heavy oily residues, carbonaceous soiling, soot, and chemical greases from contaminated surfaces. By stripping away surface grease and barrier soils first, it exposes underlying structural materials so that the main decontamination wash (MethSan A + B) can achieve maximum penetration and 100% post-remediation clearance.

Walls, ceilings, woodwork, metal fixtures, cabinetry, kitchen rangehoods, exhaust vents, and concrete in contaminated properties.

How to use

Wear chemical-resistant PPE (gloves, eye protection, respirator). Apply solution from bottom to top on vertical walls to avoid streaking.

Dilutions
  • Standard Pre-Clean: Dilute 1:4 with water (250ml per 1L clean water).
  • Heavy Oily Residues / Burn Areas: Use undiluted or dilute 1:2 with water.
Application
  1. Apply diluted MethSan PreWash to the contaminated surface using a sprayer, sponge, or microfiber applicator.
  2. Agitate with a scrub pad or brush to break up oily residue and soot layers.
  3. Wipe clean using clean damp towels or extract with wet extraction equipment.
  4. Proceed immediately to the main decontamination step using Actichem MethSan (A) and (B) Boost.
