Application areas and surface suitability

Ideal for use on carpets, upholstery, timber subfloors, concrete, skirting boards, and restoration job sites affected by pet contamination or flood inundation.

How to use

Always pre-test in an inconspicuous area for colour fastness and fibre sensitivity. Thoroughly remove gross contamination and extract wet soils before application.

Dilutions

• Severe Pet Urine / Flood Contamination: Use neat or dilute 1:4 with clean water (250ml per 1L water).
• Moderate Decontamination & Browning Treatment: Dilute 1:10 (100ml per 1L water).
• General Deodorising & Rinsing: Dilute 1:20 (50ml per 1L water).

Application

1. Apply liberal quantity of Pet & Flood solution to ensure thorough penetration into the affected fibres and backing.
2. Allow 10 to 15 minutes dwell time to break down uric salts and neutralise bacteria.
3. Extract thoroughly using a hot water extraction unit (using Actichem Rinse Pro or clean water).
4. For severe subfloor urine damage, apply directly to bare concrete or timber subfloor and allow to dry before installing new underlay and carpet.
