Application areas and surface suitability

Suitable for use on synthetic and most natural fibres, carpets, rugs, and upholstery fabrics. (Not suitable for acid-sensitive surfaces such as polished marble, limestone, or terrazzo).

How to use

Always pre-test in an inconspicuous location for colour fastness and fibre stability. Wear chemical-resistant gloves and eye protection.

Dilutions

Ready to use - apply undiluted.

Application
  1. Apply Rust Remover directly to the rust or blood spot using an applicator bottle or clean cloth until thoroughly wetted.
  2. Agitate gently using a carpet spotting rake or bone spatula.
  3. Allow 10 to 20 minutes dwell time for the chemical reaction to completely dissolve the rust.
  4. Rinse and extract thoroughly with clean water or an emulsifier rinse (such as Actichem Rinse Pro).
  5. Blot dry and groom pile with a brush.
